Terms of Service

isle31 is a small, slow social network. Each isle holds 31 people. Announcements have limited reach (in beta): they're seen only by your isle and people who follow you, and this may change as the product develops. By signing up you accept the constraints below.

When you sign up you're placed in the next open isle. Once it locks at 31, you cannot leave it, transfer to another, or rejoin. You can delete your account at any time, but you can't sign back up to a different isle with the same email.

• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or doxxing.
• No sexually explicit content involving minors. Ever.
• No spam, off-topic flooding, or impersonation.
• No illegal content under U.S. or your local law.
• No scraping, automated abuse, or attempts to break security rules.

Misdemeanors can be reported confidentially from any profile or list row. Serious or repeated violations may result in account termination at the operator's discretion.

You own what you post. By posting on isle31 you grant the operator a limited license to display it to your isle and network for the purpose of running the service. We never use your content for training, ads, or analysis.

isle31 is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose. We're a small operation — assume your data could disappear, and back up anything you can't lose.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete yours at any time from your profile page. Termination is permanent — see "One isle, ever."

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice or email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
